About This Exhibition

China, as the world's largest producer and consumer of the bakery industry, has also witnessed the most rapid growth momentum in the sector. With the continuous improvement in the living standards of the Chinese people, the bakery industry has emerged as a new favourite among the younger generation for trendy and casual dining, demonstrating vast market development potential. According to data, in 2024, the scale of China's bakery food retail market reached RMB 611.07 billion, an increase of 8.8% compared to the same period last year. Looking ahead, it is expected that by 2029, this market size will exceed RMB 859.56 billion, with a compound annual growth rate projected to be close to 7.3%. Tianjin, a key food production and consumption centre in northern China, leveraging its deep food industry heritage and strong manufacturing capabilities, along with its status as a major port city and transportation hub, and its logistics network covering the entire northern region, has become a distribution centre for the import, export, and circulation of bakery raw materials and finished products in North China. The Tianjin International Bakery Food Expo (TIBE), as an indispensable annual event for the northern China bakery industry, plans an exhibition area of 40,000 square metres, aiming to attract nearly a thousand leading enterprises in the bakery field from over 20 countries and regions, as well as hundreds of thousands of professional visitors. The TIBE Procurement and Trade Fair has been established to leverage five core advantages: China's bakery industry, market economy, regional advantages, brand influence, and exhibition facilities, to create a professional trade platform integrating product display, procurement, trade, franchising, and matching for the bakery sector in northern China. Furthermore, the exhibition will keep pace with market trends, using Tianjin as a base to serve the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, radiate to the 'Three Norths' (Northeast, North, and Northwest China) and the whole country, connect domestic and international markets, fully utilise the position and economic advantages of the Bohai Rim region, and leverage the strategic opportunities of the Bohai Rim and the Belt and Road Initiative to comprehensively serve the entire bakery industry chain.
