How to Get to Yiwu

By Air: Fly to Yiwu Airport (YIW) — direct flights from Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen. International flights connect via Shanghai or Hangzhou.

By High-Speed Rail: Yiwu Station is on the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed line. 1.5 hours from Shanghai, 1 hour from Hangzhou.

Getting around: The 5 districts are connected by free shuttle buses. Taxis and Didi are readily available.

Business Tips

  • MOQ is flexible — unlike many trade shows, Yiwu suppliers often accept small orders and mixed containers.
  • Bring a translator — English is limited. Local translation agents charge ~$50–80/day.
  • Best visiting hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Most booths close by 5 PM sharp.
  • Payment: Cash, WeChat Pay, bank transfer. For large orders, 30% deposit + 70% before shipment is standard.
  • Shipping: Dozens of freight forwarders operate in the market area. Compare at least 3 quotes.
